Players have learned it the hard way and now an assistant coach has. 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz was fined $20,000 for his comments criticizing the officials in the Week 10 Monday night game between San Francisco and Arizona. The Cardinals won the game, 29-24.

When is the NFL going to do something to refs that blow calls? What they get now, a slap on the wrist and a smaller chance of refing the playoffs is not cutting it.
Hoculi blew a big call, two actually, this season.
Peterson wasn’t flagged for removing his helmet in the end zone which may have cost the Packers the game.
The Steelers were lucky the blown call against them didn’t affect the outcome of the game, just the betting line
And these are just the big game changing calls and its only week 12!
All of these times the VP of Officiating has come out and said the refs made mistakes. The NFL needs to go to full time refs like every other major sports leagues. They need to fine refs who blow calls and they need to fire refs who blow calls regularily.
NFL offciating is really stinking and it is time they fix that!
