New York, Tampa Bay and South Florida in the running Aaron Wilson
The NFL is set to conduct its annual spring meeting in Dallas later this month.
And the agenda will include a vote to award Super Bowl XLVIII.
The candidates to host the game are New York, South Florida, and Tampa Bay.
The New York bid is expected to receive serious consideration since it features a new stadium.
A decision and announcement on the 2014 Super Bowl is expected on May 25 and will be televised live on NFL Network from the meeting room followed by a press conference.
Next year's Super Bowl is set for North Texas with the 2012 game set for Indianapolis and the 2013 game in New Orleans.
