49ers' Crabtree cleared to return to practice

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree has been cleared to return to practice after tearing his Achilles during the spring.

He remains on the reserve physically unable to perform list.

Crabtree could be back as soon as the middle of November.

He now enters a three-week window to return to practice.
