He played with Jim Harbaugh in San Diego Brad Biggs
The San Francisco 49ers have hired Greg Jackson as an assistant secondary coach.
A former teammate of coach Jim Harbaugh when they were with the San Diego Chargers, Jackson spent the past eight seasons coaching in the college ranks. He was the nickel back/linebackers coach for Wisconsin last season. Previously, he made stops at Tulane, Louisiana-Monroe and Idaho. Jackson is credited with helping tutor Chicago Bears second team All-Pro Chris Harris at Louisiana-Monroe.
In a 12-year playing career in the NFL, Jackson made 129 starts. He was a third-round draft pick by the New York Giants in 1989.
