Money will help fund construction project Brad Biggs
San Francisco 49ers fans can help the club build its new stadium – one brick at a time.
Officials announced that the 49ers will begin selling commemorative bricks that will be installed throughout the new Santa Clara stadium, that is set to open in 2014. According to the San Jose Mercury News, bricks will go on sale March 1 and will cost $175, $325 or $375 depending on the size and length of inscription on the inscribed brick.
The plan is for the club to raise between $2.5 million and $3 million, and the money will be used to help fund the construction project.
