Things didn’t go so well the last time Randy Moss was employed by a Bay Area team.
But in the wide receiver’s comeback the other team in Northern California is interested in the playmaker. Moss will travel to San Francisco today and have a workout for the 49ers on Monday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Moss worked out for the New Orleans Saints this past week and that went well according to various reports. There could be a third team that wants to kick the tires on the 35-year-old Moss before he lands somewhere.
Moss sat out last season and there are several free-agent options. The 49ers have a talented young player in Josh Morgan but it’s unknown if they will be able to retain him. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent.
