The San Francisco 49ers have signed former Stanford linebacker Chase Thomas and tight end Kevin Greene to two-year and three-year contracts, respectively.
The 49ers also waived-injured offensive tackle Luke Marquardt and waived-injured linebacker Morgan Breslin with a non-football injury.
Greene went undrafted out of USC. He played defensive end and linebacker where he recorded 11 tackles and two sacks with two forced fumbles.
Thomas has played for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers. He was cut two weeks ago by the Packers.
At Stanford, Thomas had 229 tackles, 50.5 tackles for losses, 27.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
