Free-agent cornerback punished for offseason arrests Brad Biggs
Aaron Berry doubled up with a pair of offseason arrests before the Detroit Lions parted ways with him.
Now, the NFL has come down on him. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the free-agent cornerback has been suspended for three games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Berry was one of three Lions to be arrested twice this offseason. He was busted for DUI and then was arrested on a weapons charge. While defensive tackle Nick Fairley and running back Mikel Leshoure were also arrested twice, Berry was the one who got launched by the Lions.
At some point, he should get another shot in the league.
