Aaron Hernandez could face assault charge for beating inmate

Former Patriots tight end could face more charges Aaron Wilson

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is expected to face an assault and battery charge for allegedly punching a fellow inmate.

Hernandez is in jail on first-degree murder and weapons charge for allegedly orchestrating the murder of Odin Lloyd. He has pleaded not guilty.

It would be a misdemeanor charge.

The case has been recommended to the district magistrate and is being contemplated now.
