Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is set to go to trial in May of next year on charges of allegedly murdering two men in a drive-by shooting.
The former NFL star has pleaded not guilty to killing Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado following a nighclub incident.
Meanwhile, Hernandez's lawyers have asked the judge to issue a gag order forbidding anyone from commenting on the case outside the courtroom. They cited the media coverage of the murders. Hernandez is also accused of killing Odin Lloyd.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains in jail without bail.
