Outside linebacker-defensive end has recovered from hamstring injury Aaron Wilson
Louisiana-Monroe hybrid pass rusher Aaron Morgan has recovered from a pulled hamstring that prevented him from running the 40-yard dash at his Pro Day workout.
At NFL teams' request, Morgan ran his time trial again at Speed Works and turned in a 4.74 clocking.
He also had a 6.84 in the three-cone drill and a 4.21 in the 20-yard shuttle.
The workout was recorded on YouTube.
Morgan is a sleeper who's gaining some buzz in NFL scouting circles.
Monroe is a 'tweener outside linebacker-defensive end who was named first-team All-Sun Belt Conference.
And his impressive workout numbers stack up favorably with many of the top defensive end-linebacker draft prospects.
The 6-foot-4, 242-pounder has run between 4.68 and 4.72 seconds in the past.
He bench presses 375 pounds.
He has bench pressed 225 pounds 26 times, posted a 40 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 10-07 broad jump, a 4.13 short shuttle and a 7.14 three-cone drill.
Morgan has been drawing interest form the New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Last season, Morgan registered nine sacks, also posting 17 tackles for losses, 52 tackles and one interception.
For his career, Morgan posted 22 sacks.
Against the University of Texas, he posted five tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss.
He recorded seven tackles and two sacks against Arizona State.
Morgan has overcame some tough family issues.
His brother committed suicide and his mother has battled cancer.
