Earlier this week, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he would know by Friday or Saturday if he could play against Atlanta.
That has in fact happened and it's not good for those that are fans of the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers will be scratched from this Sunday's game against the Falcons and Matt Flynn will once again start in his place.
This is the fifth game Rodgers will miss since breaking his collarbone against the Bears.
Backing Flynn up will be Scott Tolzien. Rodgers was able to practice in pads on Thursday, indicating he's close to returning.
But it's apparent his collarbone isn't where it needs to be for Rodgers to play on Sunday.
