Aaron Rodgers takes first-team reps

The Packers reportedly don't think it's likely that Aaron Rodgers will suit up this Sunday against the Cowboys.

However, Rodgers was able to get some work in during Thursday's practice. Tight end Andrew Quarless told ESPN Wisconsin that Rodgers stepped in with the first team for a few reps and did a nice job.

“Twelve [Rodgers] looked real good today,” Quarless said, via the ESPN Wisconsin website. “It was good to see him out there, really working with the [No. 1] offense. He was out there before but wasn’t working as much with the offense, but today he took some offensive reps, which is a great thing for the team.”

Rodgers has a broken collarbone that has taken longer to heal than anticipated. It's unknown at this time when Rodgers will get clearance to play again.

For the time being, Matt Flynn will continue to start as long as Rodgers is out.
