Linebacker remains on the Patriots' roster Aaron Wilson
It's no secret in NFL circles that New England Patriots outside linebacker Adalius Thomas has had a rocky relationship with coach Bill Belichick.
According to New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott, Thomas' friend and former Baltimore Ravens' teammate, Thomas wants to be reunited with Rex Ryan and play for the Jets.
However, Thomas denied that characterization from Scott in an e-mail to the Boston Herald.
”I’ve heard of all the chatter up there about me,” Thomas wrote. ”It was about something Bart Scott said on TV, (and) that’s not what was said . . . I have never told anyone that I wanted to leave and go play for the Jets. .. I have been asked by coaches, reporters, (and) players, ‘where are u going to play next year?’ And my response has been I don’t know.
"I’m still a Patriot unless you know something I don’t know, but reporters report any type of hype. Not once did anyone of them that had something to say about me, pick up the phone or email and ask if it was what I said,” he went on. ”So I’m a Patriot until otherwise noted from Bill (Belichick) or the organization.”
At some point, though, Thomas is still expected to become an ex-Patriot.
And the Jets figure to be interested.

Thinking up in NE is that Bill is screwing with AD, and wont cut him until real close to camp when a lot of other spots and a lot of free money has been taken up limiting where he can go and how much he can make
