With a Super Bowl in two weeks to prepare for, Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase wants to focus on the game-planning that lies ahead.
Therefore, he's turned down the Browns for their open-head coaching vacancy, according to a report from the Denver Post. The report states that Gase told the Browns to continue their search without him and that he no longer wants to be considered for the job.
Advancing to the Super Bowl can be a blessing a curse for a coordinator like Gase. His focus needs to be on the Super Bowl, though that means any future head coaching opportunities will begin next offseason.
