Adrian Peterson avoided a Lisfranc injury after x-ray and MRI results came back negative.
However, that alone might not be enough to get him back on the field for Week 15's game against Philadelphia. An NFL.com report stated Peterson had a "glimmer of hope" to play this Sunday.
However, an ESPN report on Tuesday puts the chances of Peterson playing at "unlikely." The report descibes the injury as a mid-foot sprain and that he'll have to wear a walking boot before proving he can run without it.
