Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson might need groin surgery.
According to USA Today, Peterson is scheduled to visit a specialist to evaluate the injury to determine if he needs surgery.
Peterson was sidelined for two of the last three games due to a groin injury and foot injury and isn't playing in the Pro Bowl.
Peterson had sports hernia surgery last year.
Peterson first injured his groin in November nad finished with 1,266 rushing yards.
