Adrian Peterson sits out of practice Thursday

Adrian Peterson did not practice on Thursday as he received treatment on a sprained foot he injured two weeks ago.

Peterson was unable to play this past week against Philadelphia, though the Vikings were able to win 48-30 anyway.

Though he didn't practice, Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said the foot injury shouldn't keep Peterson out for a second straight game.

"We just thought it'd be wise to give him a day inside with our training staff, to work through some of the kinks from yesterday's practice," Frazier said, via ESPN.com. "Unless something comes up tomorrow that I don't foresee, he should be ready to go on Sunday."
