Ahmad Bradshaw pledges to play on Sunday

The New York Giants hope to have running back Ahmad Bradshaw back for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Giants are in a deep slump but still control their playoff destiny if they win out at Baltimore and in the season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bradshaw missed Sunday’s 34-0 loss to the Atlanta Falcons with a sprained knee and the offense needs his physical presence.

“I’ve done this one before," Bradshaw said, according to Jorge Castillo of the Newark Star-Ledger. "It’s healing a lot quicker than expected. Like I said, my plan is to be out there Sunday."

First-round draft pick David Wilson has performed well in recent weeks but the Giants want the experience Bradshaw brings. Giants coach Tom Coughlin wouldn’t commit to Bradshaw being available.

“I'm not sure of that yet," Coughlin. "Medically I don’t have that kind of feedback yet."
