If you’ve followed Al Harris’ exclusive video diary for the National Football Post, you’ve seen his slow and steady progress as he rehabs from surgery on his left knee. It has sometimes been painful to watch, but it has also been rewarding to see Harris’ unrelenting effort.
Watch today’s latest installment closely. He’s getting quicker, faster and more determined. His smile is broader. He almost seems to be having fun.
It’s Week 7, and Harris, the Packers veteran cornerback, is again at the Atlantic Rehabilitation Center in Miami with his trainer. His range of motion in his knee is improving, and his speed and reflexes are visibly improved from previous videos you’ve seen.
But there’s nothing like the end of the day.
Harris is bent over, hands on knees. “That’s it out here, right?” he asks.
When he’s told that he’s finally finished, he touches fists with his trainer.
He’s one day closer to full recovery.
