Al Michaels, the play-by-play voice of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” was arrested late Friday in Santa Monica, Ca., and charged with driving under the influence.

CNN reports Michaels spent about five hours in the Santa Monica City Jail before being released this morning on his own recognizance.

Michaels was “extremely cooperative” the police told CNN. Michaels is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Municipal Court on June 26.
