Former Saints fourth-rounder now with Pittsburgh Aaron Wilson
The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former New Orleans Saints fourth-round defensive tackle Al Woods to their practice squad, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
Woods replaces Steelers rookie seventh-round draft pick Doug Worthington.
The Saints traded with the Arizona Cardinals and moved up to take the former LSU standout defensive tackle in the draft.
Saints traded their pick in the fourth round and their sixth-round pick to the Cardinals to obtain Woods.
Woods recorded 33 tackles, 4 1/2 for losses, and one sack last season He blocked a field goal against Ole Miss that was returned for a touchdown.
