It was a packed house in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Wednesday as the Crimson Tide hosted their annual pro day.

NFL personnel from all 32 teams were in attendance to get a look at several players who have the potential to become first-round picks in next April’s draft. The event was attended by New York Giants general manager Jerry Reese and head coach Tom Coughlin, as well as New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum and head coach Rex Ryan.

Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson was also in the house on Wednesday.

Here’s the rundown on some of the key performances from Alabama’s pro day, per Gil Brandt of NFL.com:

Nose tackle Terrence Cody turned some heads by weighing in at 349 pounds—which is excellent news for the defensive lineman as he’s now down 21 pounds since tipping the scales at 370 lbs in late January at the Senior Bowl.

Cody ran a 5.64 and 5.62 in the 40-yard-dash, put up 22 reps on the bench (225 lbs) and recorded a vertical jump of 22.0 and broad jump of 7-9.

Linebacker Rolando McClain was the main attraction of the day as he missed all of the workouts in Indianapolis at the combine due to a hamstring injury. He weighed in at 249 pounds and ran a 4.69 and 4.68 40-yard-dash. In addition, McClain ran his short shuttle in 4.41 and his three-cone drill in 7.91. He posted a vertical jump of 35.0 and broad jump of 9-1.

Cornerback Javier Arenas did not participate in Alabama’s pro day due to a hamstring injury he suffered at the combine. Arenas will hold his own workout for NFL personnel on March 30.

Tight end Colin Peek (252 lbs) ran 4.94 and 4.93 in the 40-yard-dash, 4.39 in the short shuttle and 7.23 in the three-cone drill. Peek also recorded a vertical jump of 34.5 and broad jump of 9-4.

Offensive lineman Mike Johnson (6-5 ¾, 312) ran 5.31 and 5.34 in the 40-yard-dash, 5.05 in the short shuttle and 8.16 in the three-cone drill.

Where do you think Cody will be drafted? How much did his pro day help him or hurt him?

I'm torn on Cody. Watching him play at Alabama, I can't help but think that he should be excellent on the nose. However, everything since his last game has made me question that (only 22 reps?). I guess we'll see.

I hope this gives Brandon Marshall at least some peace and closure, as well as Darrent Williams' family.
