Despite moving up to take Teddy Bridgewater with the 32nd overall pick in the first round, the Vikings will let all three quarterbacks on their roster battle it out during offseason workouts.
This report comes from NFL.com, which states that Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder will share first-team reps with the rookie.
Neither quarterback seems like a difference-maker at this point. But perhaps under new coach Mike Zimmer and offensive coordinator Norv Turner, either Ponder or Cassel can prove they deserve to be the first-team quarterback.
If both underperform during OTAs, minicamp and training camp, you can bet the Vikings will go ahead and go with Bridgewater.
