Eagles audition big USC running back Aaron Wilson
USC running back Allen Bradford worked out for the Philadelphia Eagles today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
The 5-foot-11, 240-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds at his Pro Day workout, standing on the rest of his combine numbers.
He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds at the NFL scouting combine, bench pressing 225 pounds 28 times and posting a 29-inch vertical leap and and a 9-05 broad jump.
A powerful, downhill style back, Bradford is a converted linebacker-safety who has also played fullback and delivers a blow as a tackle-breaking, lead-blocking presence.
He finished second on the team with 794 rushing yards and five touchdowns last season, catching three passes for 74 yards and one touchdown.
As a junior, he rushed for 668 yards and eight touchdowns as he averaged 5.8 yards per carry and was named honorable-mention All-Pac 10 Conference.
In high school, the Parade Magazine, Super Prep and USA Today All-American rushed for 1,869 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior and recorded 157 tackles, 12 sacks, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
