Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is a no-show for a mandatory minicamp.

The seven-time Pro Bowl selection has expressed disapproval with the direction of the franchise after yet another coaching change to Bill O'Brien.

Johnson's uncle, Andre Melton, told the Houston Chronicle that nothing has changed.

“Right now, that’s all that he can do,” Melton said. “We’ve done what we can do, so we’re just sitting there waiting.”

The Texans need Johnson, who caught 108 passes for 1,407 yards and five touchdowns last season.

Johnson will be fined $70,000 for skipping the minicamp. He has also lost a $1 million offseason workout bonus.

What about training camp?

“We’ll evaluate it in a month or so and see what’s going on,” Melton said.

In May, Johnson brought up his take on the situation.

“Nobody’s been here as long as I have," Johnson said. "You just kind of look at things; I’ve been thinking about things this offseason. And I just kind of wonder sometimes, ‘Is this still the place for me?’"
