Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith returned to practice today after missing the majority of training camp with a left foot injury.
“I’m alive," Smith said. "It went pretty good. I was kind of off but a couple of cans of WD-40 and I’ll be all right. I need to get in football shape. ..
”It feels good. I just have to build confidence in it. That’s really what I’m really doing right now."
Smith has a lot at stake to be up on game days when the season begins, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
If he's not active or weighs over 350 pounds, half of his game check is cut for that week.
