Andy Reid's son Garrett found dead at training camp

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid missed the team’s walk-through practice this morning as his son Garrett Reid has died.

Reid was found dead in an apartment in Lehigh, Pa., where the Eagles hold training camp. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and authorities said there were no signs of foul play. General manager Howie Roseman announced the news at a press conference that was streamed live on the team's Web site. Understandably, he was very emotional. Roseman was joined by police and a representative of the coroner’s office.

Garrett Reid had been in trouble in the past for drug and gun charges.

The Eagles gathered in prayer before the practice began. Roseman said that Reid asked that training camp continue.
