Cowboys nose tackle leaves stadium on crutches Brad Biggs
The Dallas Cowboys’ offense looked smooth and efficient on offense Saturday against the St. Louis Rams.
But they didn’t escape unscathed on defense. Pro Bowl nose tackle Jay Ratliff left the locker room on crutches, according to the Dallas Morning News, and he’s suffering from an ankle sprain.
“We’ll look at it and evaluate it tonight and have more about it tomorrow,” said owner Jerry Jones, who said Ratliff has a sprained ankle. Yeah, I’m concerned about any of these [players] getting down to when we’re within 10 days of playing, so you have to be concerned.”
Ratliff has been on the sideline during much of the offseason as he has been battling plantar fasciitis, a painful foot condition. With any luck, the ankle sprain will not be bad.
