Seattle Seahawks tight end Anthony McCoy tore his Achilles and is placed on injured reserve for the second consecutive year.

McCoy has torn his Achilles each of the past two seasons.

"It's just a real heartbreaker," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. "He’s worked so hard to get back.”

The Seahawks signed wide receiver Ronald Johnson today.

Johnson played at USC. He has previously played for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.
