Houston Texans star running back Arian Foster underwent back surgery Thursday in California to repair a herniated disk.
According to Texans coach Gary Kubiak, the surgery went fine.
“His surgery went well and that’s about all I know,” Kubiak said. “I don’t normally have any more particulars on it, but I know he had it and he’s doing well, and [he'll] start the recovery process.”
Foster is expected to return in time for next season.
