Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Gerell Robinson has been suspended for four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Robinson, an undrafted free agent from Arizona State, is actually a member of the Cardinals’ practice squad. So, the club now has a roster opening on its practice squad with Robinson forced to sit out for the next four weeks without pay, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.
Robinson originally signed with the Denver Broncos after the draft. It remains to be seen if he is in future plans for the Cardinals in light of the suspension.
