Art Schlichter is going away again.

The former Ohio State quarterback, who was the fourth pick in the 1982 draft by the Baltimore Colts, has been sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison for scamming people in what officials have called a million-dollar sports ticket scheme, according to the Associated Press.

The 52-year-old Schlichter had his playing career derailed by a gambling addiction and he’s no stranger to a cell. He has state and federal charges and with good behavior he could be on the street in a little more than nine years.

While awaiting trial, Schlichter was free on house arrest but he fouled that up by twice testing positive for cocaine. He also refused to provide urine samples on several occasions. Schlichter has requested drug abuse counseling in prison.
