Ravens rookie defensive tackle was fined for block below the waist Aaron Wilson
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens rookie defensive tackle Arthur Jones is appealing a $5,000 fine from the league office.
Jones was fined for a block below the waist he delivered during an interception return against the Carolina Panthers to open the preseason.
The fifth-round draft pick's block drew the attention of the NFL. He says it was accidental.
"I'm definitely appealing," Jones said. "I think my agent already appealed it. Hopefully, we'll get it back. We'll see what happens."
