One day after Chuck Pagano was officially introduced as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, the Baltimore Ravens announced his replacement.

Linebackers coach Dean Pees, as expected, will step into the role, says the Carroll County Times.

Also, despite some speculation that offensive coordinator Cam Cameron's spot was in jeopardy, the veteran coach will stay on in Baltimore and guide the Ravens offense in 2012.

Most people will be annoyed that they kept Cameron, but I think we'd all be praising him if the Ravens were able to limit the number of dropped passes this season (if Evans caught that pass we'd all be saying how great Flacco and Cameron are). Dickson and T Smith all need to go into the offseason and work on catching the ball (same with Evans but he will probably be cut unless he takes a drop in pay). Just think we need to be a bit more creative with route running and play calls, and the Ravens will be fine. I'm very happy they stuck with Pees for D Coordinator. I really love how the Ravens keep everything in house and move towards one goal with the people they have as opposed to looking to outside the organization and bringing in new faces. This allows the team to keep building and building and not start over but look at where and what they have accomplished and how to make what works better. You have to trust in Ozzie and hopefully with a solid draft class and free agent moves/cuts this team will be back competing for a championship.
