Auburn star Dee Ford excluded from combine drills for medical reasons

Auburn pass rusher Dee Ford was excluded from NFL scouting combine drills as a medical precaution.

Ford told NFL Network that he's not participating due to a previous back injury.

He emphasized that he has no issues with his back and will do every drill at his Pro Day on March 4 at Auburn.

Ford is hoping to run a faster time than Jadeveon Clowney's 4.47 today at the combine.

Ford and Clowney have a friendly rivalry with Ford saying Clowney is like a "blind dog in a meat market."
