New England Patriots wide receiver Austin Collie signed a one-year, $715,000 veteran minimum contract that includes a split salary and an injury waiver.

He's due the prorated $546,765, but has just a $424,412 salary-cap figure under minimum salary benefit.

Collie has a history of concussions, but expressed a preference not to be asked about his injury history Friday.

"I'd rather not talk about that," Collie told New England reporters. "Guys, I'd rather not talk about the concussions or the past injuries. All that stuff is behind me. I think I've been asked those questions, you know, a lot in the past couple of years. I'm ready to put all that stuff behind me and move on. I'm just worried about being here. Being a part of this team and helping any way I can."
