Former prospect falsely imprisoned for rape continues to train in hopes of more tryouts. Terry McCormick
Brian Banks' story has already garnered plenty of attention and emotions, with his exoneration from rape charges after being falsely accused and then imprisoned.
But Banks, a former college football prospect before his troubles began, is determined to get himself in good enough shape to get an NFL team to sign him by the time training camps start.
Banks says on his Twitter account, "I have a month to train, GET BETTER, and then the tryouts restart rt before camps. I'm determined, and relentless. I've already won"
To date, Banks has worked out for the San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, but has not convinced any of them to sign him as yet.
If Banks can get into a camp, it would make a story of redemption and triumph to clear his name have an even greater ending.
