The Philadelphia Eagles announced that wide receiver Hank Baskett and running back Justin Fargas will visit the team on Friday.

Baskett is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound special-teams ace caught 33 passes for 440 yards and three touchdowns in 2008 with the Eagles.

After signing with the Indianapolis Colts last season when the Eagles moved Michael Vick up to the active roster, Baskett didn't see significant playing time as Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie shined opposite Reggie Wayne.

Baskett is a special-teams stalwart, but didn't field an on-sides kick to open the second half of the Colts' Super Bowl loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Meanwhile, Fargas was cut recently by the Oakland Raiders before a $1.7 million roster bonus was due.

He has completed a visit with the Cleveland Browns.

The team said he failed his physical, but Fargas has said he's healthy.

Fargas, 30, rushed for 491 yards and three touchdowns last season.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder has one 1,000-yard season, gaining 1,009 yards in 2007. His production has declined each of the past two years, though.

He rushed for 853 yards in 2008.

The former USC running back has gained 3,369 career yards with 10 touchdowns.

Fargas should go play for the Bears, I think that would be appropriate.

Huggy not withstanding, he could be a solid fit challenging McCoy for the RB1 spot, *assuming* he's healthy enough to play. (I take anything I hear from the Raiders' organization with about a pound of salt.) He's a warrior.

Fargas is pretty solid on protections, that alone should land him a job for Reid's team.

Bring back Baskett and actually use him in the red zone this time, as well as special teams! Forget about Fargas, he's 30 and doesn't catch passes, he won't work in the west coast offense.
