Virginia defensive tackle Nate Collins has upcoming workouts with the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars, the 22-year-old told us during a recent podcast.

The 6’2”, 290-pounder recorded 76 stops (44 solo), six sacks and one interception that he returned for a 32-yard touchdown for the 3-9 Cavaliers in 2009.

In addition to the Bears and Jaguars, the senior defensive tackle worked out for the New York Giants last week. Collins told us that head coach Tom Coughlin put him through some linebacker drills towards the end of the workout.

Collins played the five-technique at Virginia, but could be kicked inside at the next level.
