Bears land Golden defensive stash

While most of the talk regarding National Signing Day may focus on colleges such as Florida, Texas and USC, don’t get caught sleeping on Jeff Tedford’s Golden Bears.

The University of California has officially signed five four-star defensive recruits, according to ESPN.com.

Here’s the rundown:

(Note: Keenan Allen has said he wants to play wide receiver in college, but several outlets are still referring to him as a safety.)

If you want to stop getting blown out by Oregon and USC, upgrading your defensive would be a great place to start.
