Charles "Peanut" Tillman is living proof that an NFL player can go home again.
The Chicago Bears have brought back the veteran cornerback on a one-year contract, the team announced.
Tillman ended last season on injured reserve.
He visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and former Bears coach Lovie Smith, but ultimately decided to return to the Bears.
This should be a popular move with the Bears' fan base.
Tillman was named NFL Man of the Year.
