The Chicago Bears re-signed veteran defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff to a two-year contract.
Ratliff started four of five games last season for Chicago, recording 14.5 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one tackle for a loss.
Ratliff was cut by the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 16 after starting the season on the physically unable to perform list.
Ratliff had groin surgery in 2012 then hurt his hamstring during a conditioning test in training camp last summer.
Ratliff spent his first eight NFL seasons with the Cowboys after being selected by Dallas in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL draft. He was named to four consecutive Pro Bowls.
