Bears re-sign Kyle Adams, cut Jonathan Scott

The Chicago Bears brought back tight end Kyle Adams one day after releasing him.

Losing his job: offensive tackle Jonathan Scott.

Adams is a former Purdue player who has played in Chicago for two seasons.

Scott has previous stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills.

The Bears cut Adams when they traded for tight end Dante Rosario for a draft pick from the Dallas Cowboys.
