Bears sign Leonard Pope

The Chicago Bears signed tight end Leonard Pope, cutting Brody Eldridge.

Pope is a veteran who has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals.

For his career, he has 51 starts and caught 101 passes for 982 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Eldridge was with the Bears last season and signed again in January.

He has started in the past for the Indianapolis Colts.
