The Chicago Bears signed wide receivers Michael Spurlock and Armanti Edwards.
The Bears reached an injury settlement with Domenik Hixon after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.
Edwards is a former Carolina Panthers third-round draft pick who has six career receptions for 131 yards.
Spurlock caught a career-high 17 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010. He played for the Detroit Lions last season.
Edwards has six career catches for 131 yards and also has experience as a return specialist. He was last with the Cleveland Browns.
The Bears also cut linebacker Tana Patrick.
