The Chicago Bears worked out former New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes and free agent Ben Obomanu before signign wide receiver Greg Herd to a one-year deal.
Holmes caught 23 passes for 456 yards and one touchdown last season last season for the Jets.
In 2009 with the Steelers, Holmes caught 79 passes for 1,248 yards and was named the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLIII.
Herd steps in as Marquess Wilson recovers from a fractured collarbone.
