When the New England Patriots sent out the transcript of Coach Bill Belichick's session with the media on Wednesday, not surprisingly, there were plenty of Tim Tebow questions from reporters.
The ever-evasive Belichick obliged a few questions, but then when asked about Tebow's improvement as a passer, he issued this gem of a quote:
"Like I said, we’re not going to get into a minute-by-minute evaluation of a player. I don’t think that’s the way to go, especially at this time of year," Belichick said.
It's pretty clear that Belichick wants to minimize the distraction that the Tebow media crush can create. And make sure there is no chance that Tebow in New England will devolve into the circus that was the New York Jets last year.
