Ben Roethlisberger tosses 6 more TDs
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger might've just completed the best two-game stretch of his entire NFL career.
A week after throwing for 522 yards and six touchdowns, Roethlisberger went for 340 yards and six more scores in a 43-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens Sunday night. After a slow start, Roethlisberger began to catch fire in the second quarter and never looked back.
His 12 touchdowns in two weeks set an NFL record.
The Ravens secondary, without Jimmy Smith, never had an answer once Roethlisberger got going. Antonio Brown had another big game with 11 catches for 144 yards and a touchdown. Martavis Bryant caught two touchdowns, Markus Wheaton had one and Matt Spaeth caught one.
In Pittsburgh's first seven games, Roethlisberger had thrown for 10 touchdowns. He now has 22 for the season after the past two weeks.
