The Cincinnati Bengals franchised defensive end Michael Johnson, but the pass rusher is readying for the 2013 season without letting his contract siuation and his future in Cincinnati concern him.

“All of that stuff will take care of itself. I’m here. I enjoy being here and as long as I’m here I’m going to give them everything I’ve got," Johnson told the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Not only is Johnson's contract an issue for the Bengals, but so is that of fellow defensive lineman Geno Atkins, whom the report says could be more of a priority than Johnson.

Nonetheless, Johnson said he is ready to get back to football and working for the Bengals again in 2013.
